Rob Orme joins Chantry

We’re excited to welcome one of franchising’s brightest and best young stars to the team.

In his day job, he’s one of franchising’s brightest young stars, helping business owners achieve their best outcomes.  In his spare time, he’s a special constable, using the long Orme of the law to keep the streets of his local community safer. It’s fair to say that helping people is second nature to Rob Orme.

That’s why we’re really rather excited that he’s bringing his dedication and passion to the Chantry team, joining in the newly-created role of business development manager.

Finding franchising while at university, Rob quickly built a stellar reputation in various roles at Hitachi Capital Franchise Finance, both before and since its acquisition. He broke the record as the youngest person to achieve QFP status with the bfa, becoming a central part of a multi-award-winning team with a reputation as one of the top service providers in the sector.

Latterly, as the firm’s franchise relationship manager, Rob helped over 150 franchisors achieve their objectives. Equally adept at working with emerging brands as with international powerhouses, his prior marketing background makes him ideally suited to advise franchisors on Chantry’s range of franchisee recruitment services.

Rob said: “Joining Chantry Group was one of the easiest decisions I’ve ever made. Chantry are, in my opinion, the best kept secret in franchising and I am beyond excited to be working alongside such passionate, ethical and, above all, talented people.

“I loved my time with Hitachi Capital Franchise Finance and value the experience I gained enormously. I have a vast array of wonderful contacts within the franchise space, all embarking on their own unique journeys. My mission is simple: to help more franchisees and franchisors to get where they want to go, with Chantry. I cannot wait to get properly started.”

Chantry founder and MD Chris Cook commented: “It’s so exciting to welcome Rob to Chantry. Many of us have worked with him previously and we know he brings something special to his work. Passionate, professional and totally focused on growing franchise businesses, he’s a perfect fit with our team.

“Franchisors and franchisees need all the help they can get right now and I’m thrilled he’s chosen to work with us so that we can support more people to reach their goals.”

Chantry chairman Chris Roberts QFP, who gave Rob his first role in franchising, said: “I’m also extremely pleased to see Rob joining our senior management team in such an important key role. This is excellent news for us, and also our clients!”

Rob started his new job on Monday 2 November.
